Culinary Kickstart™ is Efoodhandlers food safety program for students that has been trusted in classrooms nationally since 2009. Our ANSI-Accredited curriculum will teach your students how to prepare food safely through animated videos, interactive learning activities, and downloadable worksheets.

Our easy-to-use Teacher’s Portal creates a streamlined process to enroll students and send automated email invites, assign students to classrooms, and print/download certificates.

Get Started (Existing users)

If your school has used our program before, you can self-register using the new teacher link by entering the following information:

- School System ID
- School System Password
- District ID

For Teachers

Teachers who will be teaching a class in food safety from eFoodhandlers will require a teacher account. This site allows self registration provided your school system and district have set-up permission in-advance. If you have questions about the status of your school district, please contact SchoolServices@eFoodhandlers.com

Setting up a Teacher Account
Use the New Teacher Registration link on the right to set up your Teacher's Account. The set-up will require the following information:
- School System ID
- School System Password
- District ID


You should acquire these from your eFoodhandlers liasion. You can also acquire them from SchoolServices@eFoodhandlers.com.

Setting up a Class
A class consists of a Course record assigned to your Teacher Account. Students are built inside this Class by the Teacher or the student can self-register and select this Class to insert inside their student record. To set-up a Class entry, you will need to know:
- School name (select from dropdown)
- Class name
- Term or Semester
- Is Class active or inactive

Assigning Students to a Class
In order for students to access the course, they will need to have a Student Account. There are two ways to set up these accounts.
1. Teachers can set them up in advance.
2. Students can self-register

In order to create a student account, the following information is requested.
- Student ID
- Student Name
- Class Name (from dropdown)
- Email Address (optional)

Using the Class
Registered students who have a qualified class assigned to the profile will have access to the course. To access the course after registering, simply select from the many Take the Course buttons on the website. Students should not have to pay. If students are requested to pay, this means that a valid Class is not assigned to their account. Teachers can assign the student to their class in their admin tool. Students can also set the course using the Edit Profile tool. Refer to instructions under Study Process to understand the required steps to complete the course.

For Students

Overview
Welcome to your eFoodhandlers learning experience. This course will teach you about safe handling and serving of food. These concepts are mandatory for those pursuing work or even careers in food service. They are also vital for those cooking and serving food at the home.
